Service Description
Prerequisite: Must have completed the Beginner Stained Glass Class. Independent studio time for returning stained glass students. This open studio session is designed for those who have completed a beginner stained glass workshop and are ready to create on their own. Bring your own glass and ideas, and use the studio tools and workspace to work at your own pace. Guidance is available as needed, but this is not a structured class. The small group setting keeps things relaxed, focused, and supportive. Perfect for starting new projects, practicing your skills, and continuing your stained glass journey. Details: - Ages 18+ - Prior stained glass experience required (Beginner workshop) - Bring your own glass - Tools, foil, solder and workspace provided - Limited scrap glass available for purchase - Projects may be stored between sessions for active participants - Max 4 participants

Cancellation Policy
Eligibility: Open to students 18+ who have completed a Beginner Stained Glass workshop at Side Quest Curios. This is not a beginner class. Reservations: Advance booking required. Max 4 participants per session. Cancellations allowed up to 24 hours in advance for studio credit. Projects: Bring your own projects or start something new. Projects should be appropriate for a small studio space and manageable within an open session. Open Studio supports the Tiffany (copper foil) method only. Lead came is not supported. Side Quest Curios may limit projects that are too large, complex, or require unavailable tools. Patterns: Use studio patterns or bring your own. Outside patterns should be reviewed in advance, as some may have been created by AI. Tools & Materials: Studio tools are provided, including grinders, cutting tools, and soldering equipment. Consumables (foil, solder, flux, patina) are included. Students must bring their own glass. A small selection of scrap glass is available for purchase. Project Storage: One active project may be stored between sessions. Projects must be labeled and placed on the designated rack. Finished pieces must be taken home. Projects inactive for 60 days may be considered abandoned and repurposed after contact. Food & Drink: Allowed in the office area only, away from workspaces. Studio Environment: A relaxed, social studio night. Work independently with guidance available as needed. Safety & Cleanup: Follow all safety practices and have a signed waiver on file. Soldering ends 15 minutes before session end for cleanup. Leave your workspace clean and return tools.
